Any Local 1945 members wanting to attend these services please contact President Mantas.  Remembering Cody Mooney We wanted to provide additional details on Cody Mooney's memorial services this week. Currently, there is a team that has been put in place to help coordinate all logistics as it relates to the ceremony and planning. Per South Metro's policy, Cody's memorial service is classified as Level II: which states that it is an active uniform member/off duty death.  Memorial service details include:  Date: Friday, March 8, 2019 Time: 1:00 pm  Location: Mission Hills Church, located at 620 Southpark Dr, Littleton, CO 80120 There will be a slideshow presentation during the memorial service, and we ask that if anyone has any images of Cody and would like to share it with us, please send them to Cody's sister-in-law atali@alimooneydesign.com, who will be coordinating this.  There will be limited procession for Cody's arrival to the church on Friday, which will begin at Station 18 (with Station 18 personnel only) and include the family, Tower 18, Medic 18 and Battalion 2. Chief Mayhew is coordinating these details and will reach out directly to those who will be involved. In addition, attire for uniformed personnel who will be attending the memorial services will be Class A. If you do not have a Class A uniform, please wear Class B long sleeve with tie. Although there will be no procession following the ceremony, we invite uniformed personnel to sit amongst the "Sea of Blue" during the services to honor Cody.  More details on this will be shared as soon as it is available.  We will continue to keep you updated on the timeline and if anything changes.  In the meantime, we know there are many individuals who have started working on various remembrance projects.  If you are, can you please reach out to Jackie Erwin at jackie.erwin@southmetro.org.  Thank you to everyone for their continued efforts to honor Cody and be there for his family.
